New statistics from Svensk Mäklarstatistik show a sharp drop in prices both for condominiums and villas in Södermanland.

According to the statistics, the prices of condominiums and villas in the county have fallen by eight and five percent respectively in the last three months.

- It will be a bit difficult for those who want to buy and don't have the opportunity or those who want to sell and don't have the opportunity to do so, says Eskilstuna resident Nikolaos Doschoris.

However, it is not only in Sörmland that it is falling.

According to the statistics, the same trend can be seen all over Sweden.

The prices of condominiums are falling in all counties, and house prices are falling in 20 out of 21 counties.

In Sweden, over the past three months, prices have fallen by seven percent for condominiums and five percent for villas.

The number of homes sold is also falling

According to the statistics from Swedish Real Estate Statistics, 517 condominiums were sold in Sörmland in the last three months.

That is 26 percent less than the same period last year.

The number of villas sold was 369, which is a decrease of 23 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
