It was on Wednesday, October 5, that the police were alerted to the crime in an industrial area in Piteå.
At the scene, paramedics found a person with knife wounds to the throat and the man, who is now in custody, was arrested.
The man was requested to be remanded in custody on Friday by prosecutor Lindha Strömberg, who is satisfied that the district court chose the classification of attempted murder.
