The man, who is a former sports manager, was sentenced in April this year by the Blekinge district court to prison for one year.
The man, who has admitted, had more than 4,000 child pornography images and more than 2,000 videos.
Of these, roughly 600 images and 1,000 films are judged to be rough material.
Blekinge residents appealed the verdict to the Court of Appeal over Skåne and Blekinge.
He wanted to see that he would not be deprived of his liberty, or alternatively receive a shorter prison sentence.
But the Court of Appeal over Skåne and Blekinge upholds the district court's verdict.
