The Armenian leader also expressed hope that the efforts of the Russian President will continue to play an important role in the development of cooperation between Armenia and Russia.
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un also congratulated Vladimir Putin on his 70th birthday.
