The Nobel Peace Prize 2022 goes to the human rights organizations Memorial and Center for Civil Liberties and the Belarusian human rights fighter Ales Byalyatski.

Byalyatski is currently imprisoned since 2020. He has long fought for democracy in Belarus and is, among other things, behind the organization Vyasna.

- The dictator Aleksandr Lukashenko has long wanted to silence him and other democracy fighters, says Cecilia Gralde, presenter on SVT.
