According to the European Commission, technical assistance for infrastructure development will contribute to the implementation of the EC flagship projects in the Western Balkans, as well as other priority programs in the digital, energy and transport sectors.

“This technical support will play an important role in facilitating the implementation of the Economic Investment Plan for the Western Balkans and helping to achieve other investment and policy priorities under the Pre-Accession Assistance Facility 2021-2027,” the document says.

The contract is for four years.

The amount of funding will be €13 million.

Earlier, the European Commission planned to cooperate with activists and media in North Macedonia, who are promoting reforms in the country related to joining the European Union.
