The boy who is now charged for the violent act on Morö Backe in Skellefteå this summer has been questioned by the police several times.

In the first interrogation, which the police hold only six hours after the girl was found, the boy states that he went into the forest to urinate and then discovered the girl lying in the forest.

Two days later, the boy is questioned again after his parents contact the police.

The boy then wants to tell what happened.

- I just hit her, says the boy then.

“Thinking about why I did this”

A few weeks later, further interrogations are held.

The boy then meets the police interrogator together with his lawyer Jens Nyström.

The interrogator explains carefully how the interrogation will proceed and announces that the boy is suspected of attempted murder and aggravated rape of a child.

After a while, the boy is asked if he has anything more to tell the police since the last interrogation.

- I have thought about why I did that.

Why I attempted to kill her, says the boy.

He tells us that the assassination attempt happened, but that it was not planned.

He says that he exposed the girl to violence with his hands and used, among other things, a stick as an object.

He says that after the suspected assault and rape he left, but then came back.

- When I came back, I then told someone else who called you.

So another person called you, says the boy.

DNA ties the boy to the scene

Later in the interrogation, the boy is asked why he asked a passerby to call the police.

- I just wanted you to know.

Later in the interrogation, the boy gets to see pictures of pieces of cloth found at the scene.

Pieces of cloth that bind him to the place.

- The piece of cloth there, we have found your DNA.

These tracks that only exist with you.

The experts have found it, the interrogator tells the boy.

At the end of the long interrogation, the police want the boy to give a clearer picture of what happened in the forest grove.

- I don't remember what I did but...(silence) I don't remember what I did.
