This was reported by the newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung, citing a collective letter from the mayors.

The document, sent to the German Interior Ministry in September, says that local administrations have exhausted all possibilities of helping refugees and are in an "extremely dangerous situation."

“The municipalities are cornered, we have reached a dangerous line,” said the heads of local administrations in Baden-Württemberg.

Earlier, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said that up to 5 million refugees had already returned to Ukraine from the EU.

At the same time, French MEP Jean-Paul Garro did not rule out that in the near future, due to the food crisis, exacerbated by the situation in Ukraine, the flow of migrants to Europe will increase.

In this regard, the politician raised the issue of the need to prevent the implementation of such a scenario.

As MDR reported, Ukrainian refugees constantly insult employees of German charitable organizations.
