The court rejected all applications for injunction filed by former People's Power Representative Lee Jun-seok to suspend the execution of the duties of Jeong Jin-seok, chairman of emergency countermeasures, and six non-commissioned members.

The Seoul Southern District Court made this decision today (6th), saying, "It is difficult to see that there are any substantive flaws or procedural flaws in the resolution of the National Committee on the 8th of last month in accordance with the revision of the Constitution of the People's Power."

The court explained the reason for the dismissal, saying, "It cannot be said that Lee's right to indemnity and the need for preservation have been clarified."

Previously, the People's Power revised the Party Constitution on the 5th of last month to provide a basis for converting the Supreme Council to a non-commissioned member if four or more elected supreme members resigned.

However, former representative Lee argued that the revised party constitution violated the principle of prohibition of retrospective and was a dispositional decree directed towards him.

They also argued that the appointment of a new non-chairman was also invalid because the execution of the duties of former vice chairperson Joo Ho-young had already been suspended after a court decision.

Former CEO Lee applied for an injunction on the same day to suspend the effect of the decision of the National Committee on the 8th of last month, when Chairman Jeong was appointed and the execution of his duties.

In addition, on the 15th of last month, an injunction was applied for the execution of the duties of six non-members, including Rep. Jeon Joo-hye, and the suspension of the effect of the decision of the standing national committee that appointed them.

Regarding this court decision, former CEO Lee said, "I will go my own way more lonely and lonely in the future."

"I will do everything I can to ensure that the ruling party establishes a stable leadership system and solidly supports the success of the Yun Seok-yeol administration," Chung said.
