With our correspondent in Brazzaville,

It was Clément Miérassa, president of the Opposition Federation, who read the content of the twenty-page missive.

We are writing

it (this letter)

because we have seen that the Congo is doing very badly.

The Congolese are suffering.

And, while they are suffering, they discover that there are suitcases containing billions of FCFA crossing borders.

It's as if we were making fun of the suffering of the Congolese

 ”, he denounces.

Clément Miérassa alludes to the recent seizure at the Congolese-Gabonese border of a sum close to 1.2 billion FCFA

transported by the Gabonese opponent Guy Zouba Ndama

.

“

The country is bad

Clément Miérassa outlines the letter: “

We are sending this letter to the president to tell him that the country is in bad shape, it is in crisis: your successive governments have not provided solutions for a way out of the crisis.

Please, we challenge you, let's go to an inclusive national dialogue.

We can't go on like this.

We are in an extremely serious situation.

And the state practically no longer exists

,” he explains.

Clément Miérassa wishes and that "

all the intelligences of the country are committed to this dialogue

 ".

The services of the presidency, which acknowledged receipt of the open letter from the opposition, before it was revealed to the press, have not yet reacted.
