After meetings and interviews with about ten employees at Ronneby municipality's health and care administration, SVT Nyheter Blekinge scheduled an interview with the head of the administration, Maria Appelskog, to hear how she views the information about the manager's actions and the stories from the staff.

SVT's interview was stopped

But a few hours later, the municipality's communications manager Angelica Coleman got in touch and wanted to know exactly what the interview with Maria Appelskog would be about.

She also wanted to know what questions would be asked during the interview.

Since no questions were given out in advance, she decided together with Maria Appelskog to stop the interview.

The manager is being investigated internally

In August, Maria Appelskog tried to prevent SVT from taking the reports that were made against the manager, despite the municipal lawyer giving the go-ahead.

Only when SVT announced that the action would be notified to the Public Prosecutor's Office were the notifications handed out.

The reported manager is currently being investigated internally and the investigation is expected to be completed by the end of October.

- We are happy to answer questions, but only when the investigation into this manager is complete, says Angelica Coleman.
