In his opinion, this is a disturbing and belligerent step on the part of the Ukrainian authorities.

The observer said that in this way Zelensky "deliberately slams the door to any kind of negotiations."

He noted that Zelensky has no right to hold the whole of Europe hostage. 

“The following must be clearly understood: the world will always prefer a defeated Ukraine to a nuclear holocaust,” the author writes.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's refusal to negotiate with Russia the wrong position.
