A 26-year-old motorist deliberately knocked down and seriously injured a cyclist this Wednesday morning on a departmental road between Juilly and Thieux (Seine-et-Marne).
The victim, aged 76, was hospitalized;

According to the first elements, the driver would have alpagated a group of seven cyclists who, according to him, took up too much space on the road.
The tone rose quickly and the young man then stepped on the accelerator and deliberately drove into the group.
The driver arrested in stride
A cyclist was slightly injured in the accident but the main victim was hit and fell to the ground.
A nurse present at the time of the incident provided him with first aid while waiting for help to arrive.
Seriously injured, the septuagenarian was hospitalized in absolute emergency.
His vital prognosis has not been engaged since.
The young motorist, who had remained on the spot, was immediately arrested and placed in police custody.
He acknowledged the facts without worry.
