Not only this, North Korea continued provocations in the sky today (the 6th).

Today, a squadron of North Korean bombers and fighters approached close to the demarcation line, and the South Korean Air Force immediately responded.

Reporter Lee Dae-wook will tell you about this.

At about 2 pm today, 4 North Korean bombers and 8 fighter jets took off from the Goksan area in North Hwanghae Province, which was caught by our military surveillance network.

A squadron of 12 bomber fighters flew south and crossed a special watch line set by our military.

The special surveillance line is an imaginary line that the South Korean military responds to when a North Korean military aircraft approaches the south, and is set 50 to 60 km north of the armistice line.

As North Korean military planes crossed the surveillance line, the South Korean military urgently launched about 30 fighters, including F-15Ks, to strengthen surveillance.

The North Korean squadron turned its nose and flew toward Hwangju from Goksan, North Hwanghae Province, and even conducted air-to-ground shooting training, the military found out.

The North Korean army's protest formation flight and the South Korean military's response lasted about an hour.

Formation flights of North Korean bombers and fighters, air-to-ground firing drills, and special surveillance vessels have all been unheard of in recent years.

The military has defined the formation of the North Korean Air Force as a protest provocation.

North Korea's aerial provocations also seem to have the character of a backlash against the attack squadron bombing training of ROK and US Air Force fighters and the ROK and US attack on the Atecums surface.
