Angelina Jolie has revealed

new details

about the infamous air flight of September 2016, which led to the breakup with husband Brad Pitt.

The sexy Hollywood icon and actor allegedly beat her and the children.

This was revealed by the New York Times.

In a cross-testimony - carried out in the legal battle between the two stars, who compete for the ownership rights of a prized vineyard in France - Jolie told of a series of

verbal and physical violence by her ex-husband, which exploded during a flight on the private jet that had brought the family from France to California.

According to court documents, the actress reported that

Brad Pitt grabbed one son's throat, hit another in the face, and then "grabbed Jolie in the head and yanked

. "

Then, he would throw beer on her and pour wine on her children.

After that trip, the actress filed for divorce.

The episode came under

investigation by the FBI

, which has jurisdiction over the flights.

A rep for Pitt called it "

another manipulation, which only harms the family

," telling The Associated Press that the actor denies the new allegations of abuse.

The new details that emerged were disclosed for the first time immediately after the flight, but had remained secret:

the FBI and the Los Angeles County Childhood Services Agency in fact, would have investigated but found no evidence. or "reasons to take action against Pitt".

A judge has entrusted the custody of the children, children of the former couple, 50% of the time to the father, 50% of the time to the mother, after the trial behind closed doors.

But an appeals court later challenged the ruling, for "not disclosing

possible conflicts of interest
