 The Forum Oasis platform at the Arab Media Forum in Dubai allowed visitors to experience “virtual reality meditation” through virtual reality technology, which enables the user to separate from reality, and move to another world completely by simply placing the glasses of this technology.

Aisha bin Kalban, the editor in the Media Research Department of the Government of Dubai Media Office, told Emirates Today: "In this area, we use virtual reality technology through the device available to visitors to the forum, which enables them to experience relaxation in virtual reality."

She added: "Sounds from nature have been added to be an integrated experience for the visitor, as we usually use this technology for advanced technology, such as the world of metavirs, but now we can employ it in different fields, such as mental and physical health service, through meditation using this new technology."

For his part, Vibhav Kataria, CEO of Raykup, the developer of virtual reality technology on the platform, said: “This technology allows us to move into virtual reality in all its details as if you live in it, where the level of vision reaches 360 degrees when wearing glasses.”
