Russian ambassador: US support for Ukraine increases the risk of clash with the West

Russia's ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, said that Washington's decision to send more military aid to Ukraine poses a threat to Moscow's interests and increases the risk of a military clash between Russia and the West.

"We see this as a direct threat to our country's strategic interests," Antonov added on the messaging application Telegram today.

He continued, "The supply of military products by the United States and its allies to Ukraine not only leads to prolonged bloodshed and new losses, but also increases the risk of a direct military clash between Russia and Western countries."
