According to the agency, Japan was convinced that the security of the diplomatic mission can be ensured at a sufficient level.
The embassy is expected to open in the morning local time.
In March, the Japanese authorities announced the suspension of the embassy in Kyiv in connection with the conflict in Ukraine.
