“At the Brunsbüttel nuclear power plant, a leak occurred during flushing activities on the discharge line on September 28, 2022,” the report said.

It is noted that the operating company Vattenfall near the leak recorded a low level of contamination with radioactive substances.

This nuclear power plant has not been operating since 2007.
