North Korea fired a surface-to-surface missile in response to North Korea's firing of a Hwasong-12 presumed intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) on the morning of the 4th.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff said, "Yesterday, during a joint South Korea-U.S. surface-to-missile response, one of our Hyunmoo-2 missiles crashed due to an abnormal flight right after launch."

The military authorities are investigating that there have been no casualties so far and are analyzing the exact cause.

Last night on various online communities, various videos presumed to have occurred near the 18th Fighter Wing of the Air Force were uploaded, causing controversy.
