A 38-year-old woman is suspected of having tried to poison her 12-year-old son in Sèvres (Hauts-de-Seine).
She allegedly acted because of her child's sexual orientation.
The mother of the family was placed in police custody in Nanterre this Sunday, reports

In the morning, the young boy went to the local police station accompanied by his mother.
He then explains that she would have come to wake him up in the night.
She would have shown him her mobile phone where she would have discovered exchanges with a man.
The boy would also have registered on a homosexual dating site.
Indictment
Later in the morning, she reportedly threatened him with death.
She reportedly filled a glass with bleach before putting it in her son's mouth.
He would have succeeded in spitting out the liquid.
But her mother would not have stopped there.
She then allegedly threatened her son to throw him into the water from a bridge.
The 30-year-old was indicted for administration of a harmful substance by ascendant and death threat because of sexual orientation.
The stepfather of the child, present at the time of the facts, is being prosecuted for complicity in the administration of a harmful substance by an ascendant.
The boy was placed in a home.
His hard drive contained thousands of child pornography files.
