A 5-year-old child dies of Covid-19, his parents testify

A couple told the newspaper

of the drama that struck their lives on March 16.

Her 5-year-old boy died at the Dijon University Hospital (Côte-d'Or) of "multi-visceral damage linked to Sars-Cov-2 with acute lympho-histiocytic myocarditis and lung lesions".

Heart failure

The boy lost his life after being tested positive for the Omicron variant of Covid-19 five days earlier, without any medical history or comorbidities.

The parents of little Ludovic testify to the speed at which the boy's condition deteriorated.

Transported to the emergency room on March 13 due to extreme fatigue, he was sent home with a reassuring diagnosis.

The next day, the couple find their child lifeless on the living room carpet.

He takes her to the hospital and tries to give her cardiac massage on the way.

Unfortunately, it is too late to save Ludovic, who died of cardiorespiratory arrest.

These parents today want to testify to the dangerousness of the virus, which "does not prevent".
