Washington supplies Ukraine with additional missile launchers

US President Joe Biden told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday that Washington will provide Kyiv with new security assistance worth $625 million, including HIMARS launchers, the White House announced.

The White House said in a statement that Vice President Kamla Harris joined the call.

The statement added that Biden stressed that Washington would never recognize Russia's annexation of Ukrainian territory.

The statement said that Biden " pledged to continue supporting Ukraine in its defense of itself in the face of Russian aggression, no matter how long it takes."
