The fourth steps of dealing with the “Smart Mawaqif” device to obtain the electronic ticket include “determining the parking period (choice from one hour to 24 hours), and then choosing the method of payment, (payment is available in three ways, namely the “Mawaqif” card, cash payment, payment By bank cards), and finally confirming the completion of the payment to obtain the electronic ticket that appears to the parking inspectors on the smart devices in their possession, and does not need to be placed on the car windshield.
According to the center, in conjunction with this modernization process, the devices will be redistributed according to the uses in each region, and more than 1,200 devices operating according to the fifth generation technology will be installed, provided that the entire process is completed before the end of this year.
The Integrated Transport Center explained that updating the mechanism for paying public parking fees aims to improve customer service by employing smart solutions to enhance their experience and provide services to them with ease, flexibility and high efficiency, noting that canceling the paper copy of the parking fee payment ticket is part of its efforts to support the transformation process. digital services, promoting the principle of sustainability and promoting an environmentally friendly lifestyle in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
