Wednesday will see very mild temperatures and sunny weather in the afternoon over three-quarters of the country.

However, clouds could appear in the northwest.

Some maritime entries to report also on the Mediterranean coasts.

The sky will be slightly disturbed in the northwest on Wednesday but the rest of the country will experience sunshine and mildness, according to Météo-France.

On the northwest, from the start of the day, the sky will be cluttered with many low clouds, while the southwest wind will strengthen near the English Channel.

It can reach 60 to 70 km / h in gusts.

Light rain will affect Brittany and the Cotentin before a lull at the end of the afternoon and beautiful clearings.

In the Pays de la Loire, Normandy and Hauts-de-France, despite a very cloudy sky, the rainy period will only arrive during the afternoon then will circulate in the evening.

Near the Mediterranean, with a little sea wind, the coastal regions will sometimes be invaded by sea entries.

In Languedoc-Roussillon in particular, the low clouds will be compact and often stubborn, leaving little room for clearings.

29 degrees locally in Aquitaine

On the rest of France the conditions will remain calm, but sometimes very gray in the early morning.

From the Grand-Est to Aquitaine, fog or low clouds will again be frequent, but will dissipate before the end of the morning.

The sun will then shine generously over most of the regions.

Minimum temperatures will range from 7 to 14 degrees over most regions but will not drop below 13 to 18 degrees in Corsica and 11 to 15 degrees near the English Channel, in Brittany, as well as near the Mediterranean.

The maximum will range from 17 to 22 degrees from Brittany to Hauts-de-France, from 21 to 26 degrees over the rest of the northern half as well as in Languedoc-Roussillon and on the Atlantic coast.

They will reach 23 to 28 degrees elsewhere, locally 29 in Aquitaine.
