The advance of the kyiv army continues after the recapture of the strategic city of Lyman this weekend.
Several localities have been recaptured from the Russian occupation forces, still on the borders of Donbass where the counter-offensive is continuing, but also in the Kherson region where the Ukrainian advance is slower but seems to be undermining the Russian lines of defence.

The Russian armed forces appear to be struggling to recover from
their crushing defeat at Lyman
, in the Donetsk region, an area now fully controlled by the Ukrainian military.
The capture of this important railway junction poses a serious problem for the Russian forces, on the defensive and forced to establish a new front line.
Russians in trouble
The Ukrainian army continues its march towards the east, and now it is the towns of Svatove and Kreminna, in the Luhansk region, which are within cannon range.
According to several Russian military Telegram channels, the Kremlin forces are in great difficulty in this sector, which would undermine Russian domination over the Donbass.
The South still disputed
But in the south too, there is something new.
The Ukrainian army counter-attacked there in August, its progress there is more difficult, costly in human lives, but Ukrainian armored units are in the process of pushing the lines in the region of Kherson - controlled at nearly 90% by the Russians – along the Dnieper towards the strategic town of Nova Kakhovka.
The objective of recapturing the right bank of the Dnieper is still distant, but the Ukrainian army is more than ever on the move.
