In his appeal, the legislator noted that the development of information technology has led to the emergence of numerous socially important Internet resources, such as portals of state and municipal services, online doctor appointment systems, which are used by millions of Russian citizens today.

At the same time, in his opinion, in the matter of hospitalization today there is no single resource that allows a citizen to quickly obtain the necessary information.

Relatives of an elderly or seriously ill person may not always know that he was hospitalized, Vlasov explained.

Only having lost contact with him, citizens spend considerable time calling medical institutions, he added.

This problem is most relevant for relatives who live in another city or even abroad, having no idea, for example, how to call a short emergency number in Russia from another state to obtain the necessary information, the parliamentarian noted.

“In this regard, I ask you to evaluate the feasibility of creating a single Internet resource, on which, by date of birth, full name, passport series and number, and other personal information, you can quickly obtain information about the fact of hospitalization, the medical institution in which the citizen was hospitalized, contact data of a medical institution,” the text of the appeal reads.

Earlier it became known that Muscovites used the online doctor appointment service 70 million times in 2022.
