The 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics has been awarded to Frenchman Alain Aspect, American John F. Clauser and Austrian Anton Zeilinger, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced on Tuesday.
The three researchers are rewarded for their pioneering work on "quantum entanglement", detailed the jury, a mechanism where two quantum particles are perfectly correlated, regardless of the distance between them.
