The message: The alliance is resurrected - the Liberals switch sides

The parties announced this at a press conference on Tuesday morning.

For three weeks, it has been unclear who will govern Uppsala during the coming term.

Last Thursday, S, V and MP called a press conference to say that they form a united bloc, but they still lacked a majority and therefore called for another cooperation partner.

Now the former alliance is making a similar move, where, among other things, it is clear that the Liberals are leaving their collaboration with the Social Democrats.

- Erik Pelling chose the Left Party and we have said that we do not want to sit in government with V, says Jennie Claesson (L).

But the Alliance still does not gather a majority in the municipal council, and would need support from both the Sweden Democrats and the Development Party Democrats.
