The Federation Council approved the ratification of agreements on the admission of four regions to Russia

The decision was taken unanimously during the plenary session of the upper house of the Russian parliament.

On October 3, the State Duma adopted federal constitutional laws on the entry of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions into Russia.

Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin said that now there are 89 subjects in Russia.
