A walker's dog was shot and killed in a forest in Rabouillet (Pyrénées-Orientales) this Saturday.

According to the owner of the dog, the hunters themselves called the gendarmes.
Jean-Pierre Sanson, president of the Pyrénées-Orientales Hunting Federation, described the act as "unforgivable".

According to him, the hunting association on which the author of the shot depends has filed a request for the permanent suspension of his hunting license with the prefecture.
