In the video clip above, Sveta talks about how going to school works - and you'll find out what her favorite word in Swedish is.

During Tuesday, updated figures came from the National Agency for Education on how many Ukrainian children attend Swedish schools.

The situation shows that four out of five Ukrainian children aged 6–17 who have been received in a municipality in Sweden attend or have applied for a place in a Swedish school.

In total, roughly 6,100 Ukrainian students attend the school.

One who goes to the Lion School in Sösdala - and who enjoys it - is Svetlana "Sveta" Ponomarenko, who lives in the village with her family.

We met her for the first time last spring when she lived on a farm outside Sösdala and fell in love with the sheep there.
