Prime Minister Kishida decided to newly appoint his eldest son Shotaro as secretary in charge of political affairs, and personnel changes were announced on the 4th.

It seems that the aim is to have him gain experience at the forefront of government administration and to train him as his successor in the future.

The Kishida Cabinet currently has eight secretaries to the Prime Minister, one of whom is in charge of political affairs, Mr. Takayoshi Yamamoto, who has many years of experience as a policy secretary at the Kishida Office.



Prime Minister Kishida decided to replace Mr. Yamamoto and appoint his eldest son, Mr. Shotaro, on the 1st anniversary of the inauguration of the administration, and a personnel change was announced on the 4th.



Shotaro is 31 years old.



After graduating from university, he worked at a major trading company and then worked as a public secretary at Kishida Office.



Prime Minister Kishida seems to have the aim of nurturing him as his own successor in the future by having him gain experience at the forefront of administration as a secretary to the prime minister.
