Moscow Arbitration Court granted RT's lawsuit against Google to unblock YouTube channels

The court satisfied the claim of ANO TV-Novosti to unblock 27 channels.

At the same time, in case of non-execution of the court decision that has entered into legal force, Google will be charged a court penalty in the amount of 100 thousand rubles a day until the actual execution of the decision.

Every week the amount of the daily penalty will double.

The court decision has not entered into force.

The defendants have 30 days to appeal.

The lawsuit was filed in May.

In the same month, the court, at the request of RT, took interim measures, seizing the money and all movable property of Google LLC for a total of 500 million rubles, RIA Novosti specifies.

The court also agreed with the plaintiff's arguments that "failure to take measures to secure the claim may make it impossible to enforce the judicial act in the future."

In March, the YouTube administration restricted access to all RT and RTD channels.
