With the aim of "rapidly building the most effective government team possible", and made up of political ministers, Matteo

Salvini today faces the internal test of the Federal Council

.

The second - after 7 days and convened this time in Rome, officially on the next executive - but inevitably marked by the alert launched by

the northern frond, led by Umberto Bossi

.

"Salvini is not wrong (yet) his moves", seems to be the notice sent to the Northern League secretary by the Northern Committee, born in the wake of the electoral blow.

In the League "there is a real problem of democratic representation and representation of the territory. It is not a banality", affirms, in an interview with

Corriere della Sera

, the secretary of the Lombard League and outgoing deputy Paolo

Grimoldi who asked "immediately for a congress of the Lega

in Lombardy "and" that we return to discuss and confront each other to recover the reasons why the League was founded:

defend the reasons of the North

. If we do not remember where we come from, there is no future ".

Grimoldi explains how his involvement in

the "Northern Committee" project

launched by the founder of the Lega Umberto Bossi was born: "He started calling me in mid-August - says Grimoldi. We spoke many times and shared the

concern for the centralist drift

who was taking the party. Then Umberto called me to Gemonio and entrusted me with the task of managing the administrative aspects ".

Centralized management is therefore one of the disputes.

"It is not possible - says Grimoldi - that in an autonomist movement all decisions are made by the center. I would like to understand why the Venetians cannot choose their secretary and the same goes for the others".

A problem, he says, for which "the leaders of the League" are responsible.

Do you want to change secretary?

"You have to ask Molinari, Romeo, the governors. I don't know if they too are really satisfied and if they don't have requests for change. Of course,

if we go on so quickly the League will reach 4 percent

".

And regarding Salvini, who seems unwilling to change his mind, Grimoldi says: "Salvini will change it. The League is not a man alone in command."

The old guard of the party asks for attention to assert himself at Palazzo Chigi above all on the battles considered lost.

At the head is precisely the

reform of autonomy

and the priority in the north, from businesses to infrastructures.

Salvini, meanwhile, talks about the government: "I can't wait for you to take office, we have clear ideas".

Certainly it is the political profile that the leader would like to give to the team: ministers expressing the center-right parties, and not (other) technicians lent to politics.

Not only to differentiate themselves from the experience of the Draghi government, but also to

count on the relationship with Giorgia Meloni, majority shareholder of the coalition

and probable prime minister.

In reality, for the leader of FdI, the use of 'experts' would be almost a necessity in some key ministries such as the Economy, given the ongoing international emergencies and the historical difficulties of the national accounts.

Hence the 'rose' of ministers - presumably more substantial in numbers than what will eventually be obtained - that the secretary should put on the table.

Apart from his return to the Viminale, on which Salvini has not lost hope,

the desired ones include the Ministry of Agriculture

(in pole Gian Marco Centinaio), that of Infrastructure (among the eligible candidates, Edoardo Rixi again 'available' after legal affairs that involved him),

Economic Development

that could remain with Giancarlo Giorgetti, the Public Administration (with Giulia Bongiorno if the role of Keeper was not possible) and

Regional Affairs,

springboard for the coveted autonomy (among the eligible candidates Erika Stefani or Lorenzo Fontana).
