A couple will have to explain themselves to justice, after the discovery of a cannabis plantation, in their garden, near Manduel (Gard), indicated the gendarmerie, Tuesday.
At the end of September, soldiers from the Marguerittes brigade on patrol had spotted plantations, which strongly resembled cannabis plants.
After carrying out investigations, they invited themselves to the scene, where they discovered about ten feet, "ready to be harvested", as well as packaging material.
The couple, owner of the land, was arrested and taken into custody.
“Having a “green thumb” is a quality, however we remind you that the cultivation of cannabis remains prohibited and severely repressed”, specify the gendarmes, on Facebook.
