Ovshannikova, who continued her anti-war activities even after retiring from state television, posted a photo in July of this year on social media holding a paper criticizing President Putin as a "murderer" and protesting against the Russian military. He was reportedly charged with spreading false information and could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.
