According to the portal, the opposition of some countries with developed shipping is the only obstacle to agreeing on a new package of EU anti-Russian sanctions.

According to sources, Greece and Cyprus agreed to the proposal to impose a ceiling on oil prices from Russia.

Earlier, Polish Ambassador to the European Union Andrzej Sados said that the new package of anti-Russian sanctions includes limiting the price of Russian oil.

Meanwhile, Politico wrote that due to the position of Hungary, Cyprus, Greece and Malta on the issue of the ceiling on oil prices from Russia, the introduction of new EU sanctions may be delayed.
