Listeria monocytogenes
meningitis , possibly linked to the contamination that last week led to the withdrawal from the market withdrawal by the manufacturer of some batches of Würstel based on poultry meat.

The checks, carried out by the working group set up by the Ministry of Health to deal with the spread of the bacterium, had in fact revealed a correlation between some of the clinical cases and the presence of the strain of Listeria ST 155 in wurstel based on poultry meat produced by the Agricultural company.
