According to the official website of the Nobel Prize, on the afternoon of October 4, Beijing time, the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to scientists Alain Aspect and John Francis Krause. Physics was the first field he mentioned in Nobel's will, written in 1895, calling for prizes in five fields.
The Nobel requires the Prize in Physics to be awarded to "the person who has made the most important discovery or invention in the field of physics".
