In April 2005, the general election of the village committee of Peizhai Village, the villagers pinned their hopes on getting rid of poverty on Pei Chunliang.
At this time, Pei Chunliang had already bought a house in the county town and seldom returned to the village to live, but he was still elected as the director of the village committee with a high vote.

[Explanation] The Taihang Mountains area is rich in sweet potatoes, but because it is not an industry, sweet potatoes are often rotten in the cellar, and pure handmade sweet potato noodles cannot be sold.
In order to realize the development of sweet potato industrialization, Pei Chunliang integrated the land resources of the township and planned to build a 2,000-mu potato product industrial park to realize the development of the whole industrial chain of sweet potatoes from seedling, planting, harvesting to product research and development, production and sales.
"Company + farmers", the value of local sweet potatoes has doubled.
The sales of sweet potato hot and sour noodles alone will reach 500 million yuan in 2021, directly or indirectly driving the employment of nearly 10,000 people.
