The 5th high-level party council meeting to be held at the Prime Minister's Office in Jongno-gu, Seoul at 2 pm today (3rd), the leadership of the People's Power, ministers of government ministries related to major issues, and high-ranking officials from the presidential office came to the official agenda, 'Measures to alleviate late-night taxi congestion'. etc. will be discussed.



The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport is scheduled to officially announce the measures to alleviate the late-night taxi crisis that have been finalized at the high-level party council meeting on the 4th.



Earlier, on the 28th of last month, the People's Power ordered the government to take measures such as the cancellation of the taxi system (compulsory holiday system), the simplification of the hiring process for corporate taxi drivers, and the introduction of part-time employment contracts at the party council meeting on the 28th of last month.



In addition, it is expected that the meeting will also discuss privately on measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including the mandatory quarantine policy for indoor masks, and market stabilization measures related to the recent expansion of volatility in the foreign exchange and financial markets.



At the meeting, the ruling party included Vice Chairman Jeong Jin-seok, floor leader Ho-young Joo, policy chairperson Seong Il-jong, secretary-general Kim Seok-ki, senior floor leader Song Eon-seok, and senior spokesman Yang Geum-hee. The head of the Office of Government Policy Coordination and Baek Seung-geun, chairman of the Metropolitan Area Transportation Committee of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, will each attend.
