In Paris, several thousand people mobilized on Sunday October 2 at the call of the diaspora, associations and NGOs.

“

We didn't even expect that after the Islamic Revolution 40 years ago, we are

experiencing a revolution by women

today.

This is what is extraordinary and it is a very strong emotion

”, summarizes Azad, to cries of “

Woman, life, freedom.

A more necessary involvement in a context where it is very difficult to collect reliable information on what is happening on the spot, she underlines.

Amnesty International calls for an independent investigation in Iran, due to difficulties in obtaining reliable information

Other demonstrations also took place in more than 150 cities around the world, including Los Angeles and Toronto, also hotspots for the Iranian diaspora.
