At nine o'clock on Sunday morning, a man aged between 35 and 44 came into the emergency department in Västerås with severe injuries after a violent incident.
The man's condition is stable, and he is hospitalized for treatment, according to the Västmanland region.
The police investigated the incident on Sunday and worked to create a picture of what happened.
A preliminary investigation regarding serious assault has been initiated.
