Investigative Committee will check information about the participation of foreign mercenaries in the conflict in Ukraine

“The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee instructed to check the information about foreign mercenaries participating in hostilities in the ranks of the VFU,” the Telegram statement says.

According to the investigation, mercenaries from Romania, Poland and other European countries are participating in the battles on the side of Ukraine.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported that Russian aviation destroyed up to 80 mercenaries of the "Foreign Legion" in the Nikolaevka area in the DPR.
