It all unfolded in May this year when two men drove from Falkenberg to a forest in Laholm, which they had searched for via the internet, in order to shoot a Crvena Zastava brand pistol.

Once in the forest, the men filmed when shots were fired and sent to friends on social media, including to girls to "play tough", according to the verdict.

The resident called the police

A person living in central Laholm heard several shots being fired and called the police.

Barely an hour later, the men were stopped in their car by the police.

The gun and magazine were found.

The men were arrested and their mobile phones with footage from the shooting were confiscated.

The one man is sentenced to 1 year and 9 months in prison for serious weapons offences.

The other to prison for 1 year and 10 months for serious weapons offences, minor drug offenses and several other offences.

Another person, living in Skåne, whose DNA was secured on the gun's trigger, appeared in the investigation and was suspected of having handled the weapon in the forest.

However, the district court cannot establish that he was at the scene at the time of the incident.
