A 13-year-old boy was injured by a hunter early Saturday afternoon in Annequin, Pas-de-Calais, firefighters said, referring to a "hunting accident".

The young man, who was near a field, received "pellets in the abdomen and face following an accidental shot by a hunter", specified the departmental fire service and rescue.
He was transported to the nearest hospital, in Lens.
His days are not in danger.
A 16-year-old young man, suspected of being the author of the shooting, is wanted by the police as part of the investigation opened by the Béthune prosecutor's office for wounding with a weapon, according to France Bleu.
