The mobile scandal has been called Sweden's biggest fraud scandal and today includes a long line of companies across the country.

One of them: the Örebro company Mobile Experience, which had around 80 million confiscated during a preliminary investigation into serious eco-crimes.

Several people are suspected, of which at least one is detained in his absence.

Mobile Experience business increased explosively until 2020, when on paper they had a turnover of SEK 1.3 billion.

However, the Swedish Tax Agency believes that these were largely sham transactions with the goal of being able to claim back VAT from the state that was never paid in - "a form of theft from the state treasury".

CEO from car wash

The deals must have been carried out in a long chain of companies where the Tax Agency's review found several strange elements.

One person states that he became CEO of one of the companies without having any experience in business management.

He is said to have received the offer from a person who was a customer of the car wash where he worked.

The Tax Agency has also been in contact with several transport companies who denied that they transported the mobile phones in question.

"Will go to hell"

The authorities have also found chats in which one of the designated ringleaders rages about how carelessness is being taken with the paperwork surrounding the mobile phone deals.

"It will go to hell if it happens... screw it if it's 1 in 100 times, it shouldn't happen, the authorities are diving into everything right now and there is no room for laziness or the slightest mistake or making a mistake".

Another person describes to an acquaintance how to draw up documents that do not correspond to reality: "I know that we have papers that things have been with us, but they haven't really been.

(We delete the chat later)”

The designated persons questioned by the authorities have all rejected the accusations and said that the mobile deals were serious.
