Russia loses its seat on the board of the UN aviation agency
Russia on Saturday lost its seat on the board of the United Nations aviation agency, in a push to Western powers that want to punish Moscow for its war with Ukraine.
Russia did not get enough votes to remain in the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which is composed of 36 countries, during the General Assembly of the authority, which runs until the seventh of October in Montreal.
