Ninth pole of the season for Charles Leclerc, who places the best lap in the qualifying session of the Singapore Grand Prix. 

The Ferrari driver manages to place a nice 1'49 '' 412, leaving behind the Red Bull driver, Sergio Perez, who will also start from the front row.

From the second row Lewis Hamilton will start with the Mercedes and Carlos Sainz with the other Ferrari, while the twist concerns Max Verstappen, recalled to the garage before the last corner as he was about to place a lap from pole.

He is still yellow on the reasons that led the Red Bull Racing driver out of the psta.

Evil George Russell with the second Mercedes, eliminated in Q2 and forced to start from eleventh position.

Leclerc: "I thought I couldn't do it, I'm happy for the pole"

"I thought I would not make it after a small mistake, but I am very happy and we have recovered well".

So Charles Leclerc, Ferrari driver, comments on the pole position in the Singapore F1 Grand Prix.

"Qualifying was complicated, I didn't know what to do with the tires but it went well. I'm happy with today's results, we recovered well but we don't have much data for the race even though we think we can win," he added.
